Citizens Against Runway Expansion

If the noise of the airport bothers you so much, move. I am sure there are a handful of people who built their farms before the airport was there, I can see why they might be upset, but even they need to move on and get over it. It's been a long enough time all ready. Longmont needs an airport, the bigger the better. It's only good for the community. I know people who move close to airports just so they can see and hear them. They love planes that much. It's kind of like living next to a lake and complaining about the mosquitos. What did you expect? The people or companies we really need to be angry at are the makers of the "loud" airplanes. If enough people complained to them 50 years ago, just think how much more quiet the plans of today would be. I totally can for see quite planes in the future. That's were the attention need to be. Not the airport.

Longmont, a nice QUIET city.

I was told that the skydivers do not go "blah blah blah" but "yahooooo" All I can say is "huh?"
On a related note, I originally was going to have "bang bang" from the proposed firing range just to add even more noise, but I was told to leave that out. I guess gunshots went to far.

Noise Mufflers for Planes!

Those planes need noise mufflers. The complaints are too loud. Really, will mufflers stop the complaints? No, there are will always be people who will complain about them. Next they will say planes are blocking out the sun. You just can't make everyone happy.
