Do Mexican Dogs Understand English?

The idea for this was fleshed out with the help of Rob Spencer. Thanks Rob.
I am all for helping animals, but do we really need to save Mexico's dogs to. Don't we have enough dogs here in the U.S.? I guess you could argue that it does not matter, as long as we try. I just think we need to start local, then state wide, then nationally, then maybe the world.
Any way, it made me wonder about Mexican dogs and whether or not they can understand English. When they bark do they say "ladrido"?
Thanks for reading.

The new Allen Center in Longmont

OK, I need your help. If you are reading these cartoons in the Times-Call in Longmont and appreciate the focus on the local issues, PLEASE let the editor know. John Vahlenkamp 303-684-5239, or Call the TC Line 720-494-5485. You can even send an email to opinion@times-call.com or express your opinion on a Time-Call Survey. http://www.lehmanfyi.com/timescall/survey/. Bottom line is... I enjoy doing cartoons for Longmont and northern Colorado and would love to continue to do so.
Thanks for your help, Sam Wallace

After reading the insert about the Longmont Humane Society's new Allen Center in the Times-Call Special section, I felt that it was the nicest place. What animal would not want to sit, stay, and spay at the new modern facility. I also thought animal control officers would be overwhelmed with eager animals trying to get into the building.
