American Idol in Denver!

Can you believe the hype? So many people want to be the next big star. Are they really prepared for what it really is like? I originally thought of this gag with a single person alone downtown, but after sketching out the buildings, I thought it would be silly if the buildings missed all the people.
Thanks for reading.

Biohavens on Smith Lake

This is so cool. I hope their plan works for cleaning up the algae. In the mean time I thought it would be funny to see things through some birds point of view.
Til next time, Sam If you are reading my cartoons in a paper, let the editor know. Yes, even if you think I'm bad.

Obama Gridlock in Denver

OK, I need your help. If you are reading these cartoons in the Times-Call in Longmont and appreciate the focus on the local issues, PLEASE let the editor know. John Vahlenkamp 303-684-5239, or Call the TC Line 720-494-5485. You can even send an email to opinion@times-call.com or express your opinion on a Time-Call Survey. http://www.lehmanfyi.com/timescall/survey/. Bottom line is... I enjoy doing cartoons for Longmont and northern Colorado and would love to continue to do so. Thanks for your help, Sam Wallace

OK, this cartoon took some time. I was asked to come up with this cartoon depicting the mass chaos and confusion from moving Obama's speech over to Invesco Field. Needless to say, I didn't quite get the joke. But through countless drawing attempts and numerous re-writes I finally got what the editor was looking for. Thanks to the Times-Call editors for being patient with me.
