OK identity theft is a serious crime and issue. That was my first clue to do a cartoon about it. Unfortunately, the ramifications really hurt the community. So much in fact that innocents get hurt and financially ruined. Because of the damage done to the Longmont community this cartoon never got into the paper. It's been said that the cartoon is funny, but not to the parties who are directly effected.

If you ask me, Lyons is holding all the cards when it comes to a new and improved waste water treatment facility. Do the residents of Longmont really want Lyons to have a poor, old and fault water treatment plant. After all, Lyons waste water is Longmonts drinking water. 2034 is a long ways away! The rest of Colorado will have passed Longmont by. Even 18 years is too long of a wait. In-Situ Leach Minning

Hmmm... Mining Uranium seems pretty risky to me, to the environment, and to the world. I don't know that I want it in our backyard. But the final straw to me, is that it's a "foreign" company. If we are going to destroy the our back yard by mining, at least keep the money in state or even in country.

Thinning the Heard

Good day all! I like to be the voice of animals. What would an animal say if they could talk.
It makes my imagination run wild. (So to speak)

This cartoon published in the February 27, 2008 Times Call.

The idea came from a story by By Cara O’Brien Loveland Reporter-Herald.

Thanks for visiting.

In response to the comment of spelling "Heard"
Well, I could lie and say "I meant to do that" but that is not the case. I will never claim to be a good speller. Keep watching my cartoons to see how many times I miss spell something, then let me know. If I had a penny for every time I miss spell something, I would be very very wealthy.
All I can say is "oops". I am sure it won't be the last time I make a mistake. I appreciate your comment, at least somebody is reading the cartoons.
Thanks,
Sam
